"Within my organization, I do a couple of different things with my IT group. I run brown bags and I run coffee talks. At the brown bags, I like to go around the room and actually find out from people what is on their mind about a particular topic.  I get a wealth of information that way. And I bring it back to my staff and we talk about it and we act on it.

At the coffee talks, I open it up, ask me, any question you want, the floor is open.  And it's an absolutely amazing experience. I get a tremendous amount of different questions, we get into very detailed conversations about changes we have made, questions  about the company strategy and where we are heading. It is just wonderful. So open feedback and communication.
