In the HR Department...

Many of new CIOs, COOs and CEOs named this week:

  • The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which runs HealthCare.gov, has named Tim Love as COO and Dave Nelson as CIO
  • GetInsured, a health insurance software company "with a rare record of success," amid the troubled rollout of the Affordable Care Act said it has hired its first CIO, Allwyn "Olly" Lobo.
  • GoDaddy hired Arne Josefsberg, a long-time Microsoft executive and recent CTO of ServiceNow as its new CIO. He will oversee the infrastructure for GoDaddy's international expansion
  • Under Armour hires Chris Gates, a GE veteran, as its CIO.
  • Yahoo CEO, Marissa Mayer is parting ways with her top executive, Henrique de Castro, the COO Ms. Mayer poached from Google in 2012 is departing this week after one year. One of the highest-paid execs in Silicon Valley, Mr. de Castro exits after about a year on the job with severance package that could be worth $42 million.
