With Motorola Sale to Lenovo, Google is Unloading a Headache

Yesterday Lenovo agreed to buy Motorola from Google for $2.91 billion, pending regulatory approval, much less than the $12.5 billion Google paid for Motorola in 2011. It would seem that Google bought the company for its patents rather than for his handset business back in 2011, Google kept those patents in the deal. This allows Lenovo to enter into the US market, as a Chinese multinational company, one wonders what this means for Google's relationship with China.
