Doug King

SVP, Administration and CIO , Landauer, Inc.

With over 20 years of experience in both Fortune 500 and smaller private companies, as well as 16 years as a C-Level and senior management executive, Mr. King has a proven track record in IT & Business strategy development, organizational design, continuous improvement, operations management, technology assessment and program implementation spanning numerous industries including manufacturing, construction products, publishing/media, and professional services. His results-oriented approach has led to demonstrated successes in both high growth and turnaround/distressed environments, for organizations ranging in revenues from $50M to $1B+.

As Senior Vice-President of Administration and Chief Information Officer for LANDAUER, Mr. King is responsible for Information Technology, Global Program Management, Human Resources & Organization Development, Quality Assurance, Continuous Improvement and Legal Functions.  

As Landauer CIO, he has responsibility for developing the enterprise technology vision, IT strategy, and architecture  for all  software applications  and infrastructure.    He partners  with  Landauer’s Marketing and  Innovation team  and oversees  the design  and development  of both  Information-based   Products   &   Services   (Informatics),   as well   as large-scale user experience software applications that result in greater efficiencies and economies of scale for LANDAUER’s operations and its customers.

In his role as SVP of Administration for Landauer, he directs cross-functional Program Management for mission critical initiatives, while overseeing the LANDAUER continuous improvement function working closely with senior business leaders to prioritize business transformation initiatives aligned to multi-year growth and operational goals.  Mr. King also serves as the company’s Sr. Human Resources Executive, with responsibility for serving as liaison to the Board of Directors Compensation Committee.  

Prior to Landauer, Mr. King held several Operations leadership roles, including Senior VP and Chief Information Officer, Senior VP of Sales and Marketing, Corporate Vice President of Operations, Director of Supply Chain Management, and Program Office Director.
