Chief Information Officer and Founding Partner, Ambit Energy
John Burke is the Chief Information Officer and one of the founding partners of Ambit Energy. He is responsible for all system software development and support, as well as overseeing Ambit’s security and infrastructure systems.
John has earned a variety of accolades for his accomplishments with Ambit. In 2011, the Dallas/Fort Worth chapter of the Society of Information Managers named him IT Executive of the Year for the DFW region. In 2010, John was named one of the Information Week Top 25 CTOs of 2010.
John earned an MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University, where he became a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He currently lives with his wife and four children in Dallas, Texas.
