Matthew Kull is the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for the Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas, Texas. He is a veteran IT Executive and Technologist who has worked with some of the largest healthcare, pharmaceutical and utility systems in the country. Mr. Kull is anrecognized technology expert with a history of developing innovative and transformational technology strategies for organizations of all sizes across multiple industries. His experience spans a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, pharmacies, regional oncology and disease management institutions, telecom and energy systems, retail and distribution organizations.
Throughout his career Mr. Kull has held senior leadership positions at AmerisourceBergen, McKesson, Oncology Therapeutics Network, Oracle, and Nippon Telephone and Telegraph. He has also spent a number of years as a management consultant providing strategic guidance to companies across multiple industries. His most notable clients include companies such as Accenture, Alcatel, Alcon Laboratories, Walgreens Specialty Health, Shoppers Drug Mart, OncoMed, Eurocopter, Thompson Reuters, McKesson, TXU Energy,Suez Corporation, IVP Pharmaceuticals, ERCOT, Midwest ISO, Southwest Power Pool, Ribelin Sales, Citi Group, Nokia, and XO Communications.
Mr. Kull holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. He is a CHCIO – Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer – and maintains professional affiliations with both CHIME – College of Healthcare Information Management Executives and HIMSS – Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
