Adam Perlman

Chief Medical Officer, meQuilibrium

Adam Perlman, MD, MPH, FACP, Chief Medical Officer and Co-Founder of meQuilibrium, where he advises on the physical manifestations of stress and anxiety
and how to address those symptoms.

Dr. Perlman is an Associate Professor and Consultant within the Division of General Internal Medicine, Department of Medicine at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, where he is also medical director for employee well-being. In addition, he is medical director for Joy at Mayo Clinic, a Mayo Clinic-wide, enterprise initiative.

He previously served as the Associate Vice President for Health and Wellness for the Duke University Health System and the Executive Director for Duke Integrative Medicine.

Dr. Perlman received his BA from Tufts University and his MD from Boston University School of Medicine, completing residencies in Internal Medicine and Preventive Medicine as well as a General Internal Medicine Research Fellowship at Boston Medical Center. He earned an MPH from the Boston University School of Public Health.
