Dean Haacker

CTO, The Private Bank

Dean  Haacker is a global technology  executive that  delivered more than  $3  billion in  business value  for leading  companies.  He is an expert team builder, change agent and negotiator with a track record of success in  large-scale programs, transformations, turnarounds,  sourcing and  operational excellence.  He is  a  SixSigma Black Belt and ITIL certified.

Dean is currently CTO for The PrivateBank and Trust Company, a  Chicago-based commercial banking organization serving clients from coast to coast.  He leads the development of new products, processes, and standards to support corporate strategies; manages the daily performance of all technology services and related service providers; and delights clients and enables growth through new technology services and operations excellence. Dean helped grow The PrivateBank from $14 billion in assets in 2013 to over $19  billion in  2016.    The  PrivateBank recently  announced plans  to merge with  CIBC,  a  leading Canadian bank, in 2017 pending regulatory and stockholder approval.

Dean  was previously CTO  for the  $1.2  billion North  America  Consumer segment of The  Nielsen Company.  He was responsible for program delivery, operations excellence, and cost leadership for over 300 critical revenue-producing and client-facing systems.Dean led the new client implementations for Walmart, Safeway and Kellogg’s that enabled over $100 million revenue growth for Nielsen.

Dean  previously led  the Office of the CIO at  Motorola with responsibilities for Strategy,  Architecture, Quality,  Compliance,  Program  Management,  Portfolio  Management,  Resource  Management,  Supplier Management and Financial Management.
