Eric Singleton

Former Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Chico's FAS, Inc.

Eric is former EVP and Chief Information Officer for Chico's FAS, Inc. and former Chief Information Officer for Tommy Hilfiger Corporation, where he held worldwide responsibility for the company’s IT division. Before making the move into retail, Eric was with Raytheon Company, where he created and led their worldwide E-Commerce business. Eric was also VP and CIO for divisions of Honeywell Aerospace and Honeywell Automotive (formerly AlliedSignal), and CIO for Columbia Energy. After Tommy Hilfiger was sold to Apax Partners in 2006, Eric launched his own firm, where his client list has included Microsoft, AOL, Airstream, Zales, Robert Marc, Intermix, and many others.Eric is passionate about the digital world in all of its forms, and was fortunate to be a pioneering participant in its evolution as a commerce and social medium. He drives this evolution with a vengeance, and continues to create compelling digital technology strategies for the world’s top companies, often being asked to lead and participate in their implementation. He continues to support various educational programs by contributing expert system software he has engineered for this purpose, and has been the recipient of numerous awards throughout his career for innovation and achievement in technology and business.Eric’s passion outside of technology and business is competitive yacht racing. He began sailing at age five under the guidance of his father, and ultimately crewed on the Americas Cup Winner 12US26 Courageous for three winning seasons, and won the Americas Cup Jubilee, Classic Yacht division aboard the Americas Cup Winner 12US16 Columbia in 2001. In 2006 Eric crewed in the Volvo Extreme 40 series, and in 2011 took first place as skipper of 12US11Gleam for the Panerai Classic Yacht Regatta Series.
