Mazen Ghalayini

Mazen Ghalayini is leader of West Monroe's Product & Experience Lab and member of the firm's executive team and board. Mazen believes that becoming a digital business is not a transformation or a one-time event. It is an active state of being. That philosophy shapes his work as a leader and trusted advisor – and, ultimately, his ability to create undeniable value for clients.

As leader of our Product & Experience Lab, he oversees a multidisciplinary and fast-growing team that helps clients grow rapidly by becoming digital market leaders. This involves defining industry-leading visions and strategies for the digital age, imagining and developing digital products and experiences that customers love, deploying the right enabling technologies and data, and creating the right organizational conditions to thrive at the speed of digital.

Since joining West Monroe in 2004, he has been instrumental in building and growing market-leading practices. Prior to taking on his current role, he led our Customer Experience practice, and he previously built our CRM practice from the ground up. His collective business transformation leadership experience has instilled a sharp focus on creating measurable impact. He has steered many clients through multi-year, multi-million-dollar business and technology initiatives – for example, helping a regional bank increase revenue by 25% and reduce operational cycle times by more than 75% by transforming its customer experience.

Mazen is passionate about building our next generation of leaders and is deeply invested in mentoring and developing talent. As a board member and member of our Executive Team, he helps guide the firm through a cross-industry, cross-geography lens. In 2019, he was named one of the Top 25 Consultants by Consulting Magazine for Excellence in Leadership.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois.
