| Follow @swelsh111Stephanie Welsh has been at Red Hat for over five years and is the Senior Director for IT Strategy and Enablement. In this role, Stephanie leads a team focused on enabling the business of IT to accelerate Red Hat’s overall strategy. Her team includes portfolio management, financial management, enterprise service management, enterprise digital adoption, change management, process improvement, IT branding and messaging, and the Red Hat on Red Hat program, where IT partners with sales to share how Red Hat IT uses Red Hat products to drive digital transformation.
Stephanie has more than 20 years of experience managing global teams and driving strategic initiatives. She has a unique scope of experience across education, non-profits and technology companies. She began her career working with college students and later in corporate training and leadership development. This gave her a unique perspective on how people think and develop, and she has used this knowledge to guide her work in creating great partnerships and delivering strategic value.
Stephanie holds a B.S in Mathematics with a concentration in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. In addition, she has a Masters in Counseling and a certificate in Executive & Business Coaching, both of which she uses routinely in her job.
