Terry Critchley

Dr. Terry Critchley is a retired IT consultant living near Manchester in the UK. He joined IBM as a Systems Engineer after gaining a Ph.D. and spent 24 years there in a variety of accounts and specializations, latterly joining Oracle for three years. He joined his last company, Sun Microsystems, in 1996 and left there in 2002, and then spent a year at a major UK bank. He is now an author of numerous IT articles and the following books: High Availability IT Services, High-Performance IT Services, and Making It in IT.
