CIO Day One

CIOs and IT Executives must become business influencers Report

This month we released our second piece of CIO research in conjunction with CIO Magazine and IDG Research Services. The CIOs at a technology and cultural crossroads report found that CIOs today exert more strategic influence than ever, but tackling daily demands still consumes much of their time and focus.

In addition to the research, we released an infographic called, "4 Ways to Overcome Obstacles and Rethink the CIO Role."

What's your magic wand infrastructure: 4 part roundtable series

In May, we also published our second roundtable series. This 4 part series asked top CIOs what they would do if they were handed a magic wand  and could wave away the past: if they didn't have to consider budgets, replace and expand capacity or support ongoing operations and maintenance. Download the full report here.

Another big thank you goes out to our Enterprisers and Editorial Board members for their participation in this month's roundtable.

The Enterprisers Project Mini Videos

If you haven't yet, you should go and check out our Enterprisers Project Mini Video playlist on YouTube. We just added 9 new videos. Curt Carver, Philip Garland and Sven Gerjets answer tough questions with creative answers about how IT can enable business innovation, how to make good technologists into good leaders and most importantly, what is keeping them up at night.

Once again, we thank all of our contributors and Enterprisers Project site members for helping to build our CIO community. Be sure to sign up for our email (see sign up at the bottom of this page) to make sure you are getting the latest information.
